Rick and Gill are thrilled to welcome a new little boy into the world: Rowen Gregory Uy Official meanings are: Rowen (Irish, Gaelic) ? meaning red haired, rugged (well, he doesn?t have red hair, but we will see on the rugged!!) Gregory (Latin) ? meaning watchman (a name picked after Rick?s grandmother, Gregoria) Our little gem has his mother?s promptness, arriving on his due date, February 16, 2005 at 10:13 am. Weighing in at 7 lbs 14.2 oz (3579 grams) and measuring 20.5 inches long (52.06 cm). Rowen possesses a head just like his father?s with a head circumference of 14.5 inches (36.83 cm) which mum is still feeling the effects of! Exactly 36 hours after we left for the hospital, we were all back at home. AMAZING!! We are all now at home and getting used to our new family life. Dad will be at home for the next two weeks which is a blessing! Here are a few of the over 200 digital photos taken the past 48 hoursl!! Sending our tired, yet thrilled love to all of you! Rowen Gregory Uy - Rick and Gillian Benson Uy brought a new comer to open Windows and minds! The little Rowen must be kept away from Georgia otherwise the little (now bigger than it appears on the photo) puppy will lick the boy all! Congrats Rick and Gill! I really miss you!
